Airtable Integration Setup

Configure your Airtable connection to sync alignment data

Setup Instructions

Get your Airtable Base ID

Go to airtable.com/api, select your base, and copy the Base ID from the URL or the documentation.

Example: app12345678ABCDEF

Create or Update .env.local file

In the root of your project, create/edit .env.local with:

# Airtable Configuration
# Your API token is already configured
AIRTABLE_BASE_ID=your_base_id_here
# Optional: change table name if different
AIRTABLE_MODULES_TABLE_NAME=modules

Ensure your Airtable table has these fields

Your "modules" table should have these columns:

  • Module ID (Single line text) - Primary field
  • Module Title (Single line text)
  • Alignment Score (Number or Percent)
  • Last Evaluated (Date)
  • Developer (Single line text)
  • Course ID (Single line text)

Restart your development server

After updating .env.local, restart your Next.js dev server:

npm run dev

Test Connection

Once you've completed the setup, test your Airtable connection:
